Bali is a sublime mix of relaxation and natural attractions, while there are many especially unique things to do inSeminyak, a beach resort to the south of the island. Although renowned as the perfect honeymoon destination, this Indonesian island is currently enjoying a healthy relationship with travel addicts and nature lovers alike. From snorkeling in the pristine waters of Padang Bay to an unforgettable meal on Madu Sari Mountain, there are many unique reasons as to why so many visitors return to the island year after year.

1.Diving and snorkeling

After getting acquainted with one of the most charming and enchanting havens on earth, it’s time to explore beneath the surface of the blue waters surrounding Bali. Sites such as Amed, Padang Bay and Pulau Menjangan are perfect for beginners with a very light current and peaceful surroundings while more advanced divers can enjoy sites like around Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and and Candidasa.

Bali has also some of the most unique and most fascinating dining places you will ever encounter. One of the absolute “must see” dining places amongst these options is Frankenstein’s Laboratory where you get to dine in a monster themed restaurant, although this is if you are brave enough to eat with Frankenstein without losing your appetite. Another highlight is the opportunity to dine at a live volcano at the Madu Sari Mountain restaurant. It might sound crazy at first but enjoying dinner with the backdrop of a volcano is one of the most romantic meals you could possibly hope to find. And then there is Pomengrate in the middle of actual paddy fields or Sardine where you can enjoy a meal in the serenity of a man-made paddy field.

4.Explore Bali with an ATV

Well yes cycling around Bali on 2 wheels is amazing but some people like to get around a little faster. While enjoying the real beauty of Bali would be hard with a car, ATVs and Buggies are a great way to travel while feeling immersed in the local surroundings.

6.Experience surfing

The southern shores of Bali have the perfect rolling waves and beaches for surfers, the origin of surfing in Bali started with the island’s own first visitors back in 1930 where wave-riders visited the island to discover the beauty of its waves, drawn by the sun and beaches wave riders flown in ever since! Pros can head to the outer reef breaks of the southern Bukit Peninsula, while newbies can opt for smaller waves in the lagoons.
